Meet the family

After spending many years volunteering and working in rescue with a range of wonderful species, our house and garden have become home to many small, and not-so-small rescue animals! Thus, after my lastest rescue mission, I discovered micro sanctuaries, and I'm pretty sure we fit the bill!

Microsanctuaries are described as being a vital part of the rescue community based on the idea that “our space and our resources, no matter how limited, often are still sufficient for us to provide sanctuary to individual animals right now…”

We work to give all of the animals in our lives species appropriate care, and use only ethical, science based teaching.
